About Us
Behind every successful entrepreneur is a great mentor. Our workshop instructors are experienced educators who bring real-world expertise directly to your learning experience. Each teacher combines proven business success with a passion for nurturing the next generation of innovators.
With over twenty-five years of experience as a multilingual educator, I’ve taught at both university and high school levels, always with one goal in mind: to prepare students not just for exams, but for life beyond the classroom.
My academic journey took me from Cologne to Eastbourne and Turin, eventually leading to a teaching position in Organisational Studies at the German Sport University Cologne. While completing my PhD in Sport Sociology, I also stepped into the world of entrepreneurship—co-founding two companies:
Schafplanet, an agency for sports culture and media, and Sportalis, an agency focused on municipal sports, which is still going strong 20 years later (sportalis.de).
In 2006, I moved to Milan to work with the University Bicocca Master program in “Sport Management, Marketing and Sociology”, while continuing to teach management seminars in Cologne. Around this time, I also found my passion of teaching English to high school students, with a focus not just on language, but on critical thinking and real-world skills.
Now, I’m combining everything I’ve learned—academic insight, practical business experience, and a deep commitment to education—to help young people unlock their entrepreneurial potential. My mission is to empower students with the mindset, creativity, and confidence to think like entrepreneurs—whether they start their own ventures or bring innovative thinking into whatever path they choose.
Richard Keiner

I am a German and US-American educator who has lived and taught in Milan for over two decades. My work has always focused on empowering students—both in and beyond the classroom.
For more than ten years, I have collaborated with the educational initiative business@school, where students develop detailed business plans for their own start-up ideas and present them to panels of business professionals. Under my guidance, our teams have achieved outstanding success: winning the international final five times, reaching the finals of the German banking competition Schulbanker, and becoming two-time finalists—and one-time winners—of business@school VideoChallenge.
At the German School of Milan, I built and led the school’s highly regarded business program and taught Economics in English. As both a teacher and the school’s university and career counsellor, my focus has always been on strengthening students' competencies and preparing them for life beyond school. I have guided many students through personal and academic challenges, helping them clarify their goals and navigate their next steps with confidence. The feedback from both students and parents has been consistently excellent.
In addition to my teaching and counselling roles, I also served as the school’s Head of Planning, where I gained deep experience in communication, leadership, and managing complex educational systems.
